Auth App
Privacy Policy
Privacy is one of the drivers for Auth. Auth does not require an Auth account and does not run its own server for syncing, copying, or filling verification codes.
Data Auth Handles
Auth stores the authenticator accounts and setup keys you add to the app so it can generate time-based verification codes on your device.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync, Auth uses Apple's iCloud service for the Apple Account already signed in on your device. Auth does not operate a separate sync service.
Universal Clipboard
When you copy a code and paste it on another Apple device, that handoff is provided by Apple's Universal Clipboard. Auth does not send copied codes through an Auth-owned server.
Verification-Code AutoFill
If you enable Auth as a verification-code provider, iOS can request matching codes from Auth locally when you sign in. Auth does not use a web service to provide AutoFill suggestions.
Developer Information
The only information collected outside the app is information Apple provides to developers, such as App Store analytics and crash reports.
Use of Apple services, including iCloud, Universal Clipboard, and AutoFill, is also governed by Apple's privacy policies and your device settings.
